1. Allington Manor

Allington Manor - 10 of the Best Wedding Venues in Lincolnshire - The Yellow Belly

Allington Manor prides itself on being a ‘truly special wedding venue’. The Manor is a beautifully restored Grade II Jacobean building situated in Allington, a few miles north of Grantham. Allington Manor, based on ratings from various sites as shown below, is the best rated wedding venue in Lincolnshire with a 4.91 weighted average score.

The venue caters for civil weddings, partnerships and receptions up to a maximum party size of 50. The stunning house and beautiful garden provide a grand setting for a relaxed and intimate celebration. The Manor has 6 themed rooms, each with its own unique character. The pick of the crop The Lords Room for example is well suited to those in search of a little opulence. It has a freestanding roll-top bath, six-foot bateau bed, subtle lighting and seventeenth-century stone surround open fire all combine to create the exclusivity which has been demanded by successive Lords of the Manor for the past 400 years.

With no minimum guest numbers or fixed packages, the team at Allington Manor guarantees to assist with your plans and supervise every aspect of the day with ensuring peace of mind. They restrict the number of weddings held each year to one per weekend, to ensure they promise undivided attention for each ceremony, “sparing no effort in our aspirations to make your day unforgettable at our exclusive use venue”.

Here’s what a couple had to say about their experience at Allington Manor :

“If anyone is looking for a venue for their wedding, then we cannot rate this place highly enough. We had our ceremony and reception here on 30th July and the venue is simply stunning, the gardens are beautiful, but what really made the day extra special was the staff. Leo and his team made sure that the day ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for them. From start to finish the whole thing was everything we could have wished for and this is all down to them. All of our guests had an amazing time too and they all said that this place was a little gem! We are so pleased that we chose Allington as our venue and wouldn’t hesitiate to recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!!”

We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at The Bustard Inn and can not recommend it highly enough! Lesley and Hannah were fantastic throughout and could not be more obliging. They managed to make the whole process a most enjoyable experience for us! We had a party of 45 people for both the ceremony and three course meal afterwards and the room has the perfect atmosphere for a small gathering such as ours. The food was of such high quality, both large in quantity and flavour no one left the room hungry! The staff were attentive and very friendly. We had the most fantastic day and cannot thank you enough for making our day so special to us.
